Special Features
Faculty have more than 100 years of combined academic teaching experience. Trauma and SICU rotations are offered at the state's only adult Level I trauma center. Additional exposure to critically-ill/injured pediatric patients is provided through pediatric ICU and ED rotations at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Point of care ultrasound, simulation training, cadaver and procedural skills lab, and a medical toxicology course are all offered as part of the curriculum.
