Welcome to the department of anesthesiology, critical care medicine, and interventional pain management at LSU Health Shreveport. It is a Level 1 trauma center and stroke center. Located in the Northwest Louisiana, we serve as a tertiary and quaternary referral center. This provides an excellent environment for clinical experience and development; and has helped us earn a regional reputation for education for fellows, residents, medical school students and student registered nurse anesthetists.
