The Transitional Year Residency Program is sponsored by Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine in partnership with BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, Florida. During the course of training, residents will be exposed to a broad based program within the supportive environment and close-knit community of Winter Haven. Due to the rapid growth in Central Florida and Polk County, the program is critical to preparing our future physicians and specialists for our community.
