Recognizing the need for psychiatric care in rural communities, the Netter Rural Psychiatry Residency was developed to provide an inclusive, safe, and innovative learning environment to train the next generation of psychiatrists for excellence in clinical practice, scholarship, leadership, and service to our communities. Residents provide direct patient care in the communities where our patients live and they are at the forefront of helping to close gaps in health care disparities in rural CT.
