As a university-affiliated primary care program, we offer the opportunity for advanced degrees such as MPH, MBA, etc. In addition, residents may participate in basic or clinical research at any of the colleges at FIU. Finally, residents in our program can access the VA loan-repayment program providing up to $160,000 in educational debt repayment. This program combines the superb academic training at the Miami VA system and Jackson Memorial Hospital, a > 1500 bed county facility.
