Fellows will have one-half day per week for research and four weeks dedicated to research in years 2 and 3. Second year fellows spend four weeks on a stem cell transplant service at the NIH. Elective rotations include radiation, surgical oncology, genetics, cardio-oncology, ethics, transfusion medicine, hematologic complications of pregnancy. Fellows co-lead patient support groups and participate in seminars led by the Integrative Therapies and Wellness Program at Inova's Life with Cancer.
