Special Features
Our TY program offers a balanced, rotation-based curriculum designed to prepare residents for specialty training. Residents build core clinical skills through inpatient medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, ambulatory care, ambulatory care, and subspecialty experiences, while elective time supports career goals. Rotations emphasize progressive responsibility, efficient patient care, procedures, interdisciplinary teamwork, and evidence-based decision-making. As a regional referral center serving SW Arkansas and surrounding rural communities, our residents encounter diverse pathology across multiple clinical settings with close faculty teaching, mentorship, and career guidance.
