Special Features
The UW Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency is built on mentorship and excellence in surgical education. Our 0+5 program provides a strong surgical foundation - including high-volume trauma and critical care experience - leading to comprehensive vascular surgery training across four distinct clinical sites. Elective rotations extend training to rural vascular surgery settings across the WWAMI region. Advanced exposure to complex open and endovascular procedures is supported by nationally recognized faculty. Robust clinical research opportunities, simulation and surgical skills development, and participation in rich educational conferences prepare graduates to emerge as highly capable, compassionate vascular surgeons and leaders.
