Special Features

Opportunity to live in the only North America Blue Zone. This term refers to areas of the world with the longest life expectancy. You will have a wide range of clinical experiences, including a Level 1 tertiary care center, county hospital, VA hospital, and federally qualified health center (FQHC). We are located 60 miles east of Los Angeles in a thriving community centered around the hospital. You can live nearby and enjoy the short local commute without the big city traffic. We consider our department a family not only at work but socially as well. The program is built on feedback from the residents. We follow the principle of residency program for the residents by the residents.
