Special Features
Baylor offers hands-on endocrinology training across five diverse clinical sites, including pediatric, cancer-focused, VA, underserved, and community settings. Fellows gain multidisciplinary and procedural experience through thyroid FNA and DEXA workshops, tumor boards, neuroradiology and cytopathology rounds, and mentored QI and research projects. Clinician-educators benefit from structured teaching opportunities through the Academy of Fellow Educators, while physician-scientists may pursue a research-focused third year. Wellness retreats, strong mentorship, board preparation, and exposure to complex endocrine pathology prepare fellows for careers in both academic and clinical endocrinology.
