Our program is focused on training the well-rounded internist for the future. We specialize in training residents to serve historically underserved and rural populations - in both ambulatory and hospital setting. We emphasize training in lifestyle medicine. We have curricula in research and scholarship, well-being, teaching, and high-value care. Special opportunities include sports medicine, rural health, Cherokee Hospital, partnering with community organizations to serve our community.
