The University of Maryland Combined EMIM residency provides a device stipend (for use toward purchase of a tablet or laptop) & guarantees stipends for 3 conferences as well as for any additional conference at which the resident is presenting. Other provisions include an annual educational stipend from the GME Office, board review materials including access to an electronic question bank, yearly in-training examinations, a mentoring program, and oral board review course in the PGY-5 year.
