Since its beginning in 1986, the Duke Med-Peds program has trained physicians to care for patients across the age spectrum. Our mission is to train physicians to provide respectful, quality care to diverse patient populations, to practice evidence-based, humanistic medicine, and to become future leaders in health care. Our program's vision centers on patient care, mentorship, scholarship, diversity, community, and leadership.
