Special Features

The UMMC Med/Peds residency is a robust clinical experience in a University-based Academic Medical Center, located in the capital and largest city of Mississippi, with a separate but adjoining children's hospital. All adult and pediatric subspecialties are available and most subspecialty programs have an associated fellowship. Yet, even with all the academic amenities, the program offers a community feel and develops a close-knit group of trainees and faculty.
