Mobile, Alabama offers a rich local culture with a climate allowing year-round enjoyment of outdoor activities. The free-standing Children's and Women's Hospital gives opportunities to provide care for children. MKSAP is provided in the second year of residency and time is offered for board preparation in the final year of residency. Each resident has the option for one month of non-medical elective and an additional month of directed research.
